"Fresh from Holland" Trademission in Belfast
On Wednesday 27 January, the Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Mr Laurens Westfhoff gave a diner in Belfast for 80 Northern Irish and Dutch guests. The occassion marked the "Fresh from Holland" trade mission of 10 Dutch companies in the food and agriculture industry.

The National Gallery is currently hosting the exhibition 'The Hoerengracht' (1983–8), by American artists Ed Kienholz (1927–1994) and Nancy Reddin Kienholz (born 1943). The exhibit will transform the National Gallery's Sunley Room into a walk-through evocation of Amsterdam's Red Light District.

Holland hailed as most welcoming European nation
In a recent OnePoll survey, Holland was hailed as most welcoming European nation, followed by Greece, Portugal and Italy. A spokesperson for OnePoll said: "Holland came out very well in the poll. Brits seems to appreciate the laid-back Dutch way of life.'' Holland was the clear winner among the friendly countries, scoring almost twice as many votes as second-placed Greece.
